Pakistanis may be some of the smartest people on the planet but it is not because of our educational system. This system suffers from a critical fault line between two parallel realities of public and private education. We can hardly aspire to equality of opportunity for all our citizens in the presence of such an educational system. It is critical for the future of our country that ALL our citizens have access to an education of a standard high enough to allow them to be productive citizens of the global community.
