Elevating the standard of politics while making politics a smaller part of our lives

We need politicians who are capable, honest, well intentioned, and responsive to constituents yet able to exercise independent discretion when required. This country needs Parliamentarians who have real world experience from a variety of backgrounds. In the words of Max Weber politicians who “live for politics rather than off politics”.  At the same time it is my view that our society at every stratum is incredibly politicized. It needs to become less so.
